Starting out as an avid child performer, he became interested in painting during high school and always had an
addiction to reading fashion magazines and following the careers of MTV icons such as Madonna, Boy
George, Cyndi Lauper, and Annie Lennox.

He has also choreographed runway shows, hosted make up seminars and infomercials, and led runway
makeup teams.

To paint on "the face" was much more rewarding and "alive"! With an eye for color theory, painting, and
skills in blending on canvas, he learned how to accomplish the theatrical fantasy art of makeup styles like the
"Cirque Du Soleil" performers.

He spent time in Las Vegas collaborating with some of the most amazing showgirls and female impersonators
in this country. This is where he fell in love with the art of makeup, illusion and artifice.

He eventually developed an appreciation and skill in the softer commercial type used primarily in look books,
catalogs, and print campaigns. Mathias is also highly skilled in the art of airbrush, and is available to do light
